Why Driggs, Idaho is One of the Best Places to Build a Home in the Tetons (And Why It Means So Much to Me)

Why Driggs, Idaho is One of the Best Places to Build a Home in the Tetons (And Why It Means So Much to Me)

There are certain places that stick with you for life—and Driggs, Idaho is one of those places for me.

When I was a kid, we spent a lot of time in the Tetons, and we’d travel through Driggs often. Back then, Driggs and Victor felt like small farm towns. Quiet roads, open land, and that classic small-town Idaho feel that made the whole area feel like a hidden gem.

Fast forward to today, and it’s honestly incredible to see what this area has become.

Driggs has grown into one of the most desirable year-round destinations in the entire region. People from all over the country—and the world—come here to experience what makes this part of Idaho so special.

If you’re curious what it looks like to own property here, I currently have a homesite available and you can view the full listing details on my website here: 1772 Foxtail Drive

A year-round destination with world-class access

One of the biggest reasons Driggs has exploded in popularity is the location. You’re right in the heart of some of the best outdoor recreation in the West, with easy access to:

  • Jackson Hole, Wyoming

  • Yellowstone National Park

  • Grand Targhee Resort

  • The Tetons and endless mountain views

And the lifestyle here speaks for itself. No matter the season, there’s always something to do:

  • Hiking and exploring trails

  • Skiing and snowboarding

  • Snowshoeing and snowmobiling

  • Dirt biking and ATV riding

  • Hunting and fishing

  • Camping and weekend adventures

This is a place where people don’t just vacation—they fall in love with it, and they keep coming back.

From farm town to dream-home destination

What’s been wild to watch over the years is how Driggs and Victor have evolved. What used to be small-town farmland is now home to expansive custom cabins and luxury homes being built by people who want the space, the views, and the lifestyle that Teton Valley offers.

And the best part? Even with all that growth, Driggs still has that authentic feel. It’s not trying to be something it’s not. It’s still a community where people wave, where the pace is a little slower, and where the outdoors is a part of everyday life.

My newest listing in Driggs

Because Driggs means so much to me, I’m excited to share my newest listing here in the valley.

This property is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build in one of the most scenic and sought-after areas in Idaho. If you’ve been dreaming of building a home with mountain views, privacy, and easy access to everything Teton Valley has to offer—this is the type of homesite that doesn’t come around often.
